HIM Auditor - Chart Integrity
The HIM Auditor is a subject matter expert in the integrity of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) with regards to clinical documentation and scheduling/registration and provides ongoing operational support to ensure the integrity of the EHR. This includes auditing for accurate and timely completion of patient documentation, scheduling and registration errors, and maintaining the integrity of the regional central patient index (CPI). Auditors are responsible for identifying and diagnosing errors, determining corrective actions, and either correcting or overseeing resolution of errors.
