Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Temporary Accounts Administrator to perform sales ledger duties, including raising invoices and dealing with queries, mainly via email. The role is on-site in Leatherhead, spanning approximately 3.5 weeks with a pay rate of £16.50 per hour. Experience in a similar role and knowledge of Xero would be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role is required.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, especially Xero, is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Raise sales invoices as per company guidelines.
  • Deal with customer queries primarily via email.
  • Perform some phone work as necessary.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: 8th October 2025
  • Duration: Approximately 3.5 weeks (1.5 wks handover, followed by 2 weeks of cover)
  • Rate of Pay: c£16.50ph
  • Location: On-site In Leatherhead
  • Days: 4 days per week - Monday to Thursday
  • Hours: 9am - 5pm

About the Role

All sales ledger duties including:

  • Raising sales invoices
  • Dealing with queries, mainly via email
  • Working on Xero
  • Some phone work

Person Specification:
