Job summary

A well-regarded education organization in North London is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a short-term contract. This role involves supporting managers and staff across the employee lifecycle, providing HR guidance, and managing HR operations. Candidates should have solid HR advisory experience, be CIPD qualified or working towards it, and be highly organized. An immediate start is available with a daily rate of £140 – £160 plus holiday pay.

HR Advisor
  • £140 – £160 per day + Holiday pay!

I am supporting a well-regarded, multi-site education organisation in North London to appoint an experienced HR Advisor on a short-term fixed term basis.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting managers and staff across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll provide practical HR guidance, manage a varied ER caseload, and ensure day-to-day HR operations run smoothly and compliantly.

What you’ll be doing
  • Acting as first point of contact for HR queries (mailbox/triage)
  • Supporting managers with ER matters (absence, performance, conduct, probation, family leave)
  • Drafting HR documentation (letters, contracts, variations) and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with occupational health and external providers where needed
  • Supporting HR data, reporting and HR systems administration
What we’re looking for
  • Solid HR advisory experience in a busy environment
  • Confident handling ER and providing pragmatic guidance to managers
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and able to juggle competing priorities
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable
