A leading structural engineering firm in Sheffield is seeking a Tekla Draughtsperson for a permanent role. Responsibilities include producing general arrangement drawings, liaising with clients and engineers, and detailing fabrication drawings. Qualifications

• Must have Tekla design/detailing experience.
• Must be capable of liaising with internal departments and customers.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with a range of steel fabrication work such as secondary steelwork.
• Producing general arrangement drawings (GA’s) and 3D models.
• Liaising with clients, Contractors, Architects and Engineers.
• Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings.
• Working closely with Production Team and Design Engineers.
• Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £2m.
