A local government organization in Glasgow is seeking 2 Graduate / Technicians to join their design team for active travel projects. Candidates must have a minimum HNC/HND in engineering or a relevant discipline. Responsibilities include project delivery, budget management, and working within a multi-disciplinary team. Glasgow City Council requires 2x Graduate / Technicians to join our award winning design team delivering an exciting city wide programme of active travel projects. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians and other professionals you will have a sound knowledge of national design standards and best practice, managing budgets and monitoring performance against targets. The post holder will be based at our Glasgow office and participate in our hybrid working pilot. Generous holiday allowance and average earnings pension scheme. A minimum of HNC/HND or higher level qualification in an engineering or relevant discipline is required.
Contribute to the delivery of active travel projects within a city wide programme. Work within a multi-disciplinary team to apply national design standards and best practice. Manage budgets and monitor performance against targets. Involved in design/project management of active travel or public realm projects where applicable.
A minimum of HNC/HND or higher level qualification in an engineering or relevant discipline is required.
