Job summary

A major electric utility company is seeking a Technician (Building Maintenance & Services) to maintain, repair, and supervise work in operational premises. The ideal candidate will have a relevant certification, at least 3 years of experience, and good command of both English and Chinese. Responsibilities:

• Carry out repair and maintenance work in various primary station buildings and operational premises
• Prepare and update technical records, e.g., Testing and Commissioning record, drawing and floor plan
• Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for repairing and maintenance works of building structure, building services systems and auxiliary equipment
• Assist in preparing the technical document and specification for repair and maintenance work of various civil and building services works

Requirements:

• Certificate in Electrical, Building Services Engineering or completion of recognised Technician or Apprenticeship training in Electrical, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in building maintenance or construction works
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) or Licensed Plumber
• Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicle an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written

Work location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided
