A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Network Engineering Specialist in Swindon to undertake essential engineering activities. This role requires DV Security Clearance and involves responsibilities like system administration, developing continuity strategies, and acting as the single point of contact for incidents. Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The Network Engineering Specialist undertakes engineering activities that contribute towards the delivery of client technical requirements, deploying optimal networking and connectivity solutions that enable clients and the enterprise to achieve their operational and business goals.
This job role is based outside of Swindon within a 30‑minute commute. Onsite (5 days office based). Plus 1 in 2 call‑out obligation. Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm. You must be able to obtain DV Security Clearance in order to start this role. You will need to have lived in the UK for 10 years+ to obtain this.
