Responsibilities

Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer - Warwick - 4 on 4 off covering 7 days a week - rotational shift - days and nights

What youll do
  • Configuration and replacement of datacentre equipment such as Cisco and Juniper firewalls, Cisco switches, Cisco and Dell server hosts whilst maintaining system operation.
  • Provide both on-site and on-call support capacity for TPCMS with an ability to travel throughout the UK.
  • Proactively monitor the availability, performance, and security of TPCMS as part of a 24x7 team.
  • Address TPCMS issues either by resolving the issue or assigning to internal staff (engineers) or external providers (such as suppliers of equipment) to resolution.
  • Proactively engage with all members of the System Management Team to support a continuous improvement program for TPCMS and the service provided with the customer.
  • Ensure all Service Level Agreement targets are exceeded.
  • Support the transition of the TPCMS service to other parties by aiding the development and training needs of candidates.
