About The Role

PETA are proud to be working with Raymarine UK to recruit an apprentice within the Technical Support Department, focusing on customer support (office‑based and infield).

Training to be provided

Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 22‑month apprenticeship which includes 25 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6‑8 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

About the role

The IT Technical Support Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Handle telephone enquires and provide 1st/2nd line support for FLIR/Raymarine products
  • Manage CRM and email queries, assist team colleagues, and oversee returns and repairs processes
  • Conduct in‑field service visits and elevate technical issues with full triage to relevant teams
  • Support engineering teams and drive product improvement through technical expertise and customer feedback
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert to train and mentor team members
  • Deliver technical training sessions for customers
  • Perform other assigned duties
