Job summary

A leading education provider in Langley is seeking a Temporary Electrical Trainer to deliver a structured electrical curriculum. You will engage and motivate apprentices through classroom teaching while preparing them for assessments. This role demands a Level 3 Electrical qualification and a recognised teaching qualification, along with proven experience in delivering training within apprenticeship settings. Competitive hourly rate of £40-45 offered.

Responsibilities

Electrical Trainer (Temporary) Langley 40-45 per hour

Are you an Electrical Trainer looking for a contract role focused on high-quality delivery?

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Trainer to join a well-established, learner-focused education provider. You will deliver structured, classroom-based teaching and assessment to electrical apprentices, supporting them through their qualifications and End Point Assessment.

The role is ideal for a trainer who is confident in curriculum delivery, learner management, and apprenticeship standards, and who enjoys supporting apprentices to achieve their full potential.

The Role:
  • Deliver a structured electrical curriculum aligned to apprenticeship standards and EPA requirements
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours
  • Conduct progress reviews and provide clear, constructive feedback to learners
  • Prepare apprentices for gateway and End Point Assessment
  • Liaise with employers, curriculum teams, and EPA organisations to support learner progression
  • Maintain accurate learner records and off-the-job training evidence using approved systems
  • Support learners with additional needs in collaboration with ALS teams
The Person:
  • Level 3 Electrical qualification such as 2365, 8202, 2330, or 2360, or equivalent
  • Recognised teaching qualification such as AET, CET, or equivalent
  • Proven experience delivering electrical training within apprenticeships or FE settings
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, gateway, and EPA requirements
  • Confident classroom presence with the ability to engage and motivate learners
