Overview

Technical Services Manager x 3 NHS – Manchester – to £70k. Car / allowance, bonus

Role structure

• 1 x Electrical – HV/LV AP
• 1 x Mechanical – Boiler and Pressure Systems AP
• 1 x Mechanical – Ventilation AP

Responsibilities

• Support issues, unpick problems and provide solutions to build the 5-year lifecycle plan for a large PFI healthcare contract that covers 5 sites.
• Audit the incumbent FM provider to confirm maintenance of plant and equipment on site in line with manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Operate in an arrangement that requires both technical expertise and diplomacy, working alongside another company delivering Hard FM.
• Ensure reference to authorised persons and maintain compliance across the specified disciplines.
• Contribute to delivering lifecycle works and planning capacity for future years (currently delivering £10m/year with capability to deliver ~£35m/year).

Qualifications

• Currently an authorised person in the following disciplines: HV/LV AP, Boilers and Pressure Systems AP, Ventilation AP.
• Experience delivering lifecycle works on a multi-site healthcare facility contract is preferred.
