Job description Our client are the leading manufacturer of bespoke staircases in the UK they have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join its award-winning team at its office in Cornwall. We7re looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with previous experience in staircases, architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry. Excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and generate sales for the business and offer recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

Responsibilities
  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Working with marketing to identify and evaluate new business opportunities
  • Meeting with potential clients, online and in person, to discuss their needs nationally
  • Handling the sales process which includes pre-sales, to sales, to after sales, via email, face to face and telephone
  • Generation of quotes and follow-up
  • Coordination with other team members to establish pricing
  • Checking of drawings to ensure they meet required specifications
  • Preparing monthly reports on sales activity and KPI improvement activity
  • Deliverin CPD presentations online and in person
Knowledge and Skills
  • Must have previous experience in architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
