About the Role

Are you a commercially minded engineer with a passion for customer engagement and problem-solving? We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to act as the key customer interface for our UK Aftermarket Repair operations, helping drive repair business growth while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

In this role, you’ll be the single point of contact for assigned customers, coordinating closely with internal teams to manage repair projects from enquiry through to completion. You’ll balance technical understanding with commercial insight to ensure repairs are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers and sales teams to identify new repair opportunities
  • Manage customer enquiries, quotations, CPAs, and contract reviews
  • Project manage repair jobs involving multiple items or rig out-of-service periods
  • Actively communicate with customers on progress, costs, schedules, and technical issues
  • Coordinate quality plans, ITP approvals, and agreed scopes of work
  • Review purchase orders and manage variation orders with confidence
  • Track and manage all repair activities using NOV ERP systems (Glovia / Omega)
  • Resolve customer complaints and facilitate effective solutions
  • Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Identify system or process improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders to implement them
What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • GCSE Level 3 or equivalent business/technical qualification
  • Experience in a similar customer-facing or technical sales role
  • Working knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desirable
  • HNC/HND in a business-related subject
