The role: Technical Programme Manager

Manages and delivers up to 3 strategic BA programmes, including bespoke cabin interiors for Airbus and Boeing fleets. Ensures scope, quality, budget, and regulatory compliance while achieving certification, safety, and customer satisfaction. Provides technical insight and coordination to deliver innovative designs that differentiate the BA brand.

What you'll do:
  • Deliver cabin interior programmes up to £150m, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage schedules, interdependencies, and stakeholder engagement across BA, IAG, and global suppliers.
  • Lead milestone reviews, certification processes, and technical risk management throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Provide technical insight on FAA, CAA, and EASA regulations; ensure airworthiness and legal compliance.
  • Oversee planning, financial forecasting, and reporting to drive effective mitigation and decision‑making.
  • Coordinate with MRO, engineering, and production teams for seamless delivery.
  • Lead workstreams and promote a safety‑focused, open culture within the Cabin Programmes team.
  • Support programme management and other PMO duties related to assignment.
What you'll bring to British Airways:
  • STEM degree or equivalent experience in complex programme delivery - essential.
  • Programme Management certification (APM, PMI, PRINCE2) - Highly desirable.
  • Proven experience delivering complex aviation engineering programmes with risk management and mitigation - desirable.
