Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking Technical Operators/Machine Technicians for permanent positions. The role involves operating bespoke machines, performing quality checks, and technical maintenance. Candidates should possess electrical/mechanical experience, IT skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This position offers a salary of £34,200 for night shifts with a 4 on 4 off work pattern. Successful applicants will have opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

  • Electrical/Mechanical experience advantageous.
  • Experience with pneumatic maintenance preferred.
  • Strong IT skills and basic computer literacy are essential.
  • Ability to read diagrams and technical manuals is necessary.
  • Must be able to fault-find and manage time effectively.

  • Responsible for tool and workshop upkeep.

Job Overview

Staffline are Hiring!!!! Technical Operators/Machine Technicians Permanent job opportunities 4 on 4 off shift pattern, Nights 6pm-6am. Please note, training will take place on day shifts. Salary: Nights £34,200.

Responsibilities
  • Operation of bespoke machines.
  • Perform quality control.
  • Perform technical cleaning of equipment.
  • Repair/refurb components used in the machines.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of tools/toolboxes ensuring all tools are available at all times.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the Production workshop in both usage and cleaning.
  • Preventative/Reactive maintenance of automated Production lines.
  • Maintain high standards of H&S practices.
  • Able to assist our external software support by having good communication skills to resolve issues/concerns with the Production machines.
  • Actively looking to improve productivity and share this drive with other shifts.
  • Be able to train others in due course.
Qualifications
