Technical Incoming Inspector - Belfast

Location: Belfast (on-site)

Hours: 36 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Pay: £23.84/hr (PAYE) or £31.90/hr (Umbrella)

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (arranged by employer)

About the Role

Are you passionate about quality and precision? Join our dynamic Supply Chain Operations team as a Technical Incoming Inspector at our Belfast site. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards, supporting both our team and our customers.

What You'll Do
  • Carry out inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities to ensure products meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to operators, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment.
  • Monitor the Delegated Operator Scheme, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Work flexibly within teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Prepare clear technical reports to highlight and resolve any drawing, process, or tooling issues.
  • Champion continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence.
What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Completion of a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
  • At least 2 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace, manufacturing, assembly, or tooling environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control requirements and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements, and standards.

Desirable:

  • ONC, A Levels, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Knowledge of 3D metrology.
