Overview

Technical Fitter position

Location

Immingham, Lincolnshire

Salary

£38,000 to £42,000 per annum, with plenty of overtime to a package around £47,000+

Hours

Week 1:
Mon 8am–6pm, Tue 8am–4pm, Wed 8am–6pm, Thu 8am–4pm, Fri 8am–6pm
Week 2:
Mon 8am–4pm, Fri 8am–4pm
Overtime every other Saturday morning (8am–12 noon)

Role

Trailer Technician / Fitter (Skilled and Trainees with relevant mechanical experience). A full-service trailer specialist responsible for maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
• Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
• Attending roadside breakdowns and undertaking repairs/servicing at customer sites
• Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
• Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
• Working efficiently, responsibly, and in a timely manner
