Location and Salary

Hybrid with London base location

London: £67,820 to £84,776 plus £5,000 car allowance per annum (in exceptional circumstances we may consider a salary of up to 10% above the top of the advertised range)

Hours: 36 hours per week – flexible options considered

Contract Type: Permanent

If you have a European Diploma or Equivalent in Fire Safety and an IFE Graduate Membership, this could be the opportunity for you!

We’re looking for a Technical Fire Compliance Manager to support the fire safety and wellbeing of Clarion customers and residents and the safety of the buildings they occupy. Part of our development team, you’ll report into the Head of Compliance, Specification and Performance and will deliver a first‑class specialist and technical service to the business providing assurance of practice and standards for statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise design teams on fire safety for new developments, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and employer’s requirements.
  • Deliver assurance of fire policy and process by proactive auditing, review and external stakeholder liaison.
  • Provide technical expertise to senior health and safety, group building safety and development directorate teams.
  • Monitor scheme design and liaise with project teams and management to address key risk operations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in construction, building or facilities management, preferably in social housing or residential management.
  • European Diploma or equivalent in Fire Safety and IFE Graduate Membership.
  • Solid understanding of housing construction, building pathology and fire systems design.
Benefits and Work Arrangements

Hybrid working with flexible arrangements; base location at our offices in GLH. Candidates expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

Occasional travel may be required to other Clarion offices.
