Qualifications

Technical Enterprise Architect

As a Technical Enterprise Architecture focus, you\'ll lead the design and delivery of complex technical and architectural solutions within our Central Government clients. You\'ll take ownership of architectural workstreams, guide multidisciplinary teams, and engage with senior stakeholders to shape technology strategy and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of enterprise and solution architectures aligned to business goals and government standards
  • Define and maintain architecture principles, patterns, and roadmaps across programmes
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable technical designs and delivery plans
  • Provide expert guidance across cloud platforms, software engineering, data architecture, and cybersecurity
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment between architecture and implementation
  • Support pre-sales activities, including technical input into bids and proposals
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Skills & Experience

We\'re looking for individuals with a strong technical foundation and architectural mindset.

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise or solution architecture in complex software programmes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including within government sectors
  • Familiarity with UK Government digital standards and delivery frameworks
  • Expertise in one or more of the following:
    • Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman)
    • Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Software development and integration
    • Data architecture and governance
    • Cybersecurity and risk management
    • DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
