As a Technical Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the technical aspects of our housing projects. You’ll ensure designs are practical, compliant, and cost-effective, while liaising with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track from planning through to completion.
Coordinate technical information between design, planning, and construction teams.
Manage external consultants (architects, engineers, surveyors) to ensure timely delivery of drawings and reports.
Review designs for compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and industrystandards.
Support the Technical Manager in resolving design and construction challenges.
Ensure health, safety, and sustainability requirements are integrated into project designs.
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project life cycle.
Previous experience in a technical role within house building or construction.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning processes, and NHBC requirements.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (advantageous).
