Kitson Associates are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for aTechnical Coordinatorto join a largely successful housebuilder due to continued growth within the team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects of residential developments from design to completion
• Manage consultant contracts, fee proposals, and appointments.
• Work closely with internal teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all designs are buildable and comply with regulatory standards.
• Ensure all technical information (working drawings, consultant documents, and approvals) is accurately coordinated and submitted to building control and warranty providers.
• Support the Land, Planning, and Development teams during land acquisition and planning condition discharge.
• Lead and participate in Pre-Start Meetings to align departments on engineering and design requirements.

Skills and Experience

• BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in a technical role within residential construction, including experience in project design and delivery.
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Commercial awareness and the ability to make decisions within your authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Mathematical proficiency and a keen eye for detail.
