As an engineer in the Engineering Governance team, you will be responsible for the Governance as a Service functionality that delivers data insights on how Fidelity as an organisation is adhering to the many audit, security, risk & regulatory controls in real time. Traditionally, every year as engineers we have to take screen shots to evidence controls are being met - this is a mundane and poor use of time! How can we as engineers showcase these controls are being adhered to in real time back to our stakeholders to see self service at any time of day? Can we pragmatically develop automated ways to remediate or prevent non compliant workloads? Through API led interactions, building awesome pipelines & writing some great code, we can revolutionise how we govern & protect our systems. We need innovative & energetic people to join our team to help bring the theory into practise, quickly & effectively through best practise engineering techniques. We need to showcase the art of what is possible in terms of building high quality, simple code integrated into robust pipelines that helps build the trust of our key stakeholders & enabling others to learn from us.
