Job Description:

Working with a large IT Consultancy seeking a Technical Business Analyst on a permanent basis.

• Permanent role
• Paying up to £55,000 per annum
• Remote with occasional client visits
• Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will:

• Translate business objectives and requirements into technical features and user stories to shape product development and delivery.
• Leverage IT Delivery Frameworks and DevOps practices to facilitate CI/CD pipelines for smooth delivery.
• Conduct system and data analysis to identify improvements and inform decision making.
• Support product roadmap management, prioritisation, and backlog refinement, collaborating with product owners, developers, architects, and QATs.

Your Profile

Skills and experience include:

• Experience in technical design and development of technology-based products.
• Experience with technical architecture and technical writing.
• Data analysis, modelling, and visualisation skills (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI), with willingness to learn database schemas and data manipulation.
• Ability to facilitate end-to-end delivery from research to release.
• Experience building and prioritising agile backlogs for technical requirements.
• Familiarity with methodologies like Scrum, SAFE, and Waterfall.
• Interest in contributing to the growth of the internal BA community.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Ideally, also:

• Experience across sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Consumer Products, and Retail.
• Experience supporting internal team operations, including recruitment, client development, line management, training, and mentoring.
• Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, User-Centred Design, etc.
