Job Title Technical and Maintenance Planner

Location Lowestoft ( Onsite )

The Technical Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining an overarching maintenance plan for all activities on the East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm. Based onshore at the Lowestoft O&M Base this role is an integral part of the Site Team ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of work scopes by coordinating maintenance activities managing planning systems and supporting operational teams to maintain asset integrity and statutory compliance.

What youll be doing
Planning & Coordination

Work closely with Deputy Site Managers to ensure all planned works are delivered on time safely and to a high standard. Support the planning of both critical and routine tasks including major component changes and annual campaigns.

Coordinate and prioritise multiple scopes of work across Balance of Plant WTG OFSS ONSS and major projectsboth above and below water. Review resource planners regularly and flag any shortages to site management in advance.

Lead daily coordination meetings to manage simultaneous operations agree on priorities and resolve access or crane restrictions effectively.

Work Requests & Access Control

Facilitate and control site work requests and asset access ensuring all activities meet safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate site access restrictions for foundations vessels and WTGs and update the Anomalies Register accordingly.

Track all ongoing works across the windfarm to ensure visibility of progress and alignment with the maintenance plan. Adjust maintenance schedules when delays or disruptions occur.

SAP & System Management

Administer and maintain the SAP maintenance system at site level ensuring timely and accurate records of all activities. Liaise with global SAP teams to align with corporate processes and resolve system issues.

Generate and manage work orders prioritising and scheduling them based on resource availability. Act as the site focal point for SAP offering guidance and training to team members.

Ensure the SAP database reflects all current maintenance activities. Maintain and update the Asset Snag Register ensuring defects are logged categorised assigned and closed out promptly. Support digitalisation efforts using tools like Power BI and Power Automate to enhance reporting and workflow efficiency.

Operational Support

Prepare and issue work packs with all necessary documentation safety instructions and checklists. Collaborate with Operations Engineering to assess defects and integrate corrective maintenance into the planned programme.

Provide real‑time solutions to operational issues in coordination with the control room to minimise downtime. Assist in reviewing and preparing RAMS contractual work orders and scopes of work for ad‑hoc or retrofit tasks.

Contribute to procedure development for site operations and maintenance. Work closely with the Warehouse Coordinator to request parts tools and spares. Support the implementation of site processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Analysis

Review daily reports defect notifications and rectification reports to ensure accurate data capture in relevant systems. Analyse maintenance data to produce performance reports including planned vs actual S‑curves.

Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Power Automate to provide visibility into work progress and resource utilisation. Present updates and performance metrics to site management and stakeholders.

Identify trends in corrective maintenance and provide insights to support proactive defect resolution.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure all works comply with approved RAMS risk assessments and method statements and verify execution against site standards. Support the development of site processes to improve safety and efficiency.

Assist in writing and reviewing contractual work orders scopes of work and Management of Change (MOC) documentation. Contribute to digitalisation and process improvement initiatives using tools like Power BI and Power Automate.

Support identification and resolution of serial defects. Provide input into competency development and training requirements for site‑based work scopes.

Additional Responsibilities

Determine the need for dangerous goods in work scopes and ensure proper documentation and manifests are completed. Support site audits and inspections to maintain compliance with internal and external standards.

Assist with ad‑hoc tasks and projects that contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the windfarm.
