Permanent / Full-time: 37 hours per week (7.30am-3.30pm or 8am-4pm Mon-Fri)

This role is essential to supporting operational activity and ensuring the smooth running of logistics within the district. You'll work closely with colleagues to manage materials and equipment, supporting projects and maintenance activities that keep electricity flowing to homes and businesses across Scotland.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide day to day support within the logistics function, ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed to keep projects and maintenance activities on track.
  • Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards and processes.
  • Work within the outlying store in the district, coordinating with operational teams and contractors to meet deadlines and project requirements.
  • Assist with the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.
What you'll bring
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in a logistics, stores, or supply chain environment would be an advantage, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting operational needs, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and inventory management systems.
  • Valid UK Driving licence
