What makes the role unique?

This is a completely new role within adult social care. It is a specific role for a peripatetic team manager. The peripatetic team manager will report directly to the Principal Social Worker (PSW) and will be based at County Hall, Morpeth. The peripatetic team manager will work across the County as a support to existing team managers, as and when necessary. The other main priority for this post is to undertake quality assurance work, deputise for the PSW and lead on quality projects. Required qualifications and experience
  • Degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience of supervising or mentoring staff.
  • Post-Qualifying Experience e.g. PG Certificatemodules.
  • Valid UK driving licence and either a car owner or can use a car for work purposes.
