Team Lead / Team Manager Needed in Bedford!

Location: Bedford Borough
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:45 - 17:30
Rate: Up to £44.50 per hour (umbrella)

Are you an experienced Manager ready to lead and develop a vital safeguarding service? We're seeking a Team Lead / Team Manager to oversee our Integrated Front Door (MASH) team on an interim basis!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and embedding of the Integrated Front Door as the single contact point for safeguarding vulnerable children in Bedford.
  • Ensure prompt, efficient responses to all contacts and referrals.
  • Oversee operational decisions about contacts, referrals, and child-in-need assessments, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strict adherence to information governance protocols to safeguard data.
  • Allocate work effectively within the team, ensuring protocols are followed per Working Together guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to research enquiries, identify risks, and make timely decisions.
  • Develop consensus views on individual cases and hold ultimate responsibility for decision-making.
  • Deliver positive outcomes for children and young people through effective leadership.
