An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Street Cleansing team at Darlington Borough Council as a Team Leader.

Applicants should have a LGV License or be willing to undertake training to gain LGV status within two years of appointment.

The purpose of the role is to assist in the management of all Street Cleansing Services, including, but not limited to mechanical and manual sweeping, litter bin emptying, fly tip removal, street care, Town Centre activities, house clearances, gulley emptying and volunteering, ensuring services are delivered with the highest possible standard.

The role requires approximately 2 years’ experience working in Street Cleansing or another related field.
