A prominent children's charity in Belper is looking for a Team Leader to oversee a residential home for children. The ideal candidate will manage a care team, ensuring a supportive environment where children's emotional and social needs are met. Responsibilities include developing care plans and promoting positive relationships. The role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and experience in children's residential care. This full-time position offers a salary of up to £33,400 per annum and a variety of employee benefits.

Willow lodge is a newly established therapeutic residential home for up to four children and young people. We provide a warm, homely environment where our children feel safe, supported and part of the community. Our service is built on a therapeutic approach, with safety, relationships, and emotional stability at its heart. We are dedicated to creating nurturing environments where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
As a Team Leader in our therapeutic residential home, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex emotional behavioural needs. You will lead and motivate a dedicated care team, ensuring a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where every child feels valued and supported.
You will use your background in children’s residential care and your understanding of trauma‑informed practice to guide staff in delivering constant, high‑quality care. The role includes overseeing the development and delivery of individualised care plans, promoting positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining high standards of safeguarding and well‑being.
This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, confident decision making and a commitment to developing both yourself and your team through continuous professional development.
