We are looking for a full time Team Leader in our Molesey Shop.

The Cavan Bakery was founded by David Cavan in 1929. Today, we employ over 150 colleagues, operate a growing network of 10+ bakery shops, a café, and supply over 100 wholesale customers. For nearly a century, our reputation has been built on quality, taste, pride and passion.

As we continue to grow, we are focused on innovation, developing new products, opening more shops, expanding wholesale partnerships and growing online.

We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader for our Molesey Shop to support the Shop Manager and ensure smooth daily operations. You will help lead the team, maintain high standards of customer service, uphold our food safety and compliance responsibilities, and inspire colleagues to deliver the Cavan Bakery experience every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop.
  • Lead, motivate and coach team members to deliver consistently excellent customer service.
  • Ensure EVERY customer leaves satisfied, EVERY time.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Oversee stock control, deliveries and waste management in line with company standards.
  • Support with staff rotas, training and development.
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational issues in the absence of the Shop Manager.
  • Ensure the shop environment is clean, safe, welcoming and well-presented.
  • Uphold Cavan Bakery values of quality, pride and passion in all that you do.
