An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled finance professional who is passionate about providing excellent financial support to managers across the organisation. If you're a finance professional looking for a role with variety and challenge, then we'd like to hear from you.

We are looking for an individual who is either CCAB qualified or working towards qualification, has sound knowledge of local authority finance and experience of providing support to those responsible for managing financial resources. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills and have experience at presenting complex financial information in user friendly formats. To be successful you will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a highly performing team. What the role will involve?

We are a high performing finance team that provides excellent support to managers across the organisation. As part of the Financial Management team, you will be leading a team responsible for the preparing and monitoring of the Council's revenue and capital budgets and providing day to day support to budget and project managers.
