Team Leader Childrens Residential Care (EBD)
Location: Leyland, Lancashire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £15 per hour + Enhancement for per sleep-in

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and experienced Team Leaders to join our residential childcare services. Homes provide safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for children aged 717 with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD).

As a Team Leader, you will support the Registered Manager and lead a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring children receive consistent care, support, and guidance in a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise staff to deliver excellent therapeutic care.
  • Support care planning, risk assessments, and day-to-day routines.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, legislation, and internal procedures.
  • Act as a positive role model for young people, promoting resilience, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Contribute to rota management, including sleep-ins and flexible shift coverage.
  • Support childrens education, personal growth, and social development.

About You

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
