Job description

This is a full‑time position with the main working hours being Monday – Friday from 08:30 – 17:00. It is based at our office on Worle High Street but involves travelling to other locations to carry out dha tasks and duties. Out‑of‑hours on‑call participation is required on a rota basis. Salary £25,000 – £28,000 depending on experience.

Team Leader Job Purpose

To promote the highest standards of care and support services to enable clients to remain living safely Meet and independently in their own homes.

Team Leader Primary Responsibilities
  • Undertake client QAs and reviews as required.
  • Support Care Professionals through supervisions and competency sessions.
  • Conduct client / Care Professional introductions where appropriate.
  • Assist the Care Manager with care consultations.
  • Raise issues as events with the Registered Manager for clients and care professionals as they arise.

  • Start and hold new care packages until Care Professionals can be scheduled in.
  • Cover emergencies and sickness, sometimes within and after office hours if required.
  • Participate in training Care Professionals in the office and in the field.
  • Support other Team Leaders when workload is imbalanced.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in preparing for regulatory inspections, notifications and audits.
  • Take part in the on‑call and emergency backup rota when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality for all Home Instead information, including client, Care Professional and office data.
