Provide management and organisation of a clinical area. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care. Contribute to the education, development and line management of other staff members, qualified and unqualified. Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families with minimal or no supervision.

Role and Qualifications

An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 senior nurse to join our friendly team on the children's unit. This post would be suitable for an experienced band 5 staff nurse with both strong clinical knowledge and leadership qualities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about the care of children and young people and committed to improving service delivery and flexible to the needs of the service. A desire to learn and undertake leadership and management training is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
