Teaching Assistant - Pilgrim Academy

Fixed Term until 31 August 2026 - 32.5 hours per week

Term time + Inset days (195 days per year)

Salary: £25,550 - LGAT 5 - FTE

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Teaching Assistant to join our academy.

  • To assist students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum
  • To work under the direction of the teacher in a class based environment using teaching aides and other methods of support
  • To help support and promote the Academy behaviour policy

Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of a team.
