Overview

Weekly Hours 32.5 hours per week: Monday/Thursday/Friday 8:45am to 3.15pm, Tuesday 8:45am to 4:15pm, Wednesday 8:45am to 4:45pm. Term Time Interviews to be conducted as suitable candidates apply Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and help create an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, you will deliver care and support programmes that enable pupils to access learning effectively-both in the classroom and beyond

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with SEN to ensure their safety, inclusion, and engagement in learning activities.
  • Assist with individualised programmes, including Therapy and Personal Care Plans, and carry out clinical procedures following training and competency sign-off.
  • Build positive, constructive relationships with pupils, promoting independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress and achievement under teacher guidance.
  • Contribute to school life, including trips, activities, and supervision outside lesson times.
Training & Development
  • Participate in regular training sessions
  • Receive specialist SEN training, including clinical procedures, hoisting, and personal care.
