Job summary

An educational institution in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support students at Merridale Primary School. The role requires experience with Primary age children, especially those with additional needs, and a passion for enabling every child's potential. 20 hours per week. Working: 8.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Merridale Primary School’s team.

  • has experience of working with children across the Primary age range, including those with additional needs, encouraging and supporting them to achieve their full potential
  • experience working with Key Stage 2 children will be an advantage
  • has experience of working with children who have English as an Additional Language
  • has a good standard of Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills. Can communicate effectively
  • can support children to meet their individual learning goals through contributing to their Individual Provision Plans and Educational Health Care Plans
  • has experience of working with children presenting challenging behaviours
  • is resilient and passionate about the social, emotional and mental well-being of young people
  • is dedicated, creative, enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • can work effectively as part of a team and is committed to raising standards for all children
  • provides a positive, safe, supportive learning environment
