Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in Education or a similar role.
  • ALN (Additional Learning Needs) experience.
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply).
  • EWC Registration (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support.
  • Provide general support to the class teacher.
  • Liaise with the class teacher to discuss pupil progress.

Randstad Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a long-term role based in Denbighshire. Previous experience working with children is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
  • Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
  • Support pupils with ALN and develop strategies to best support their needs
  • Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
  • Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
  • Report any concerns to the ALNCo
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in Education or similar role
  • ALN experience
  • Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • EWC Registration (or willingness to apply)
