Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £89 - £100 Per day

Benefits: PAYE

Job Duties:
  • Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational programmes
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Participating in meetings with teaching staff and parents as required
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification
Education:
  • Minimum of GCSE level education
Experience:
  • Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of classroom dynamics and student behaviour management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional qualifications in specific subject areas
  • First aid training
Working Conditions:
  • Working hours: Full-Time
  • Contractual role based in Erith
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
