About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. In this role, you will support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities, prepare lesson materials, and assist in maintaining accurate records. You will provide individual and small-group guidance, adapting resources to meet diverse learning needs and offering targeted support to pupils who require extra help. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and committed to helping every student succeed.

Role Requirements
  • Previous experience within a school as a Teaching Assistant is esssential
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
  • Strong communication skills, both with pupils and staff
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required)
