As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our mission to create an environment where every student can thrive academically and personally, regardless of their social, emotional, or mental health challenges. Position Details

• Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Location: Southend-on-Sea
• Salary Scale: £85-£115
• Contract Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
• Implement strategies and interventions to support social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour support plans.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous.
