What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Tuxford Academy for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals within the academy’s SEND department. This is a temporary role covering a maternity leave, working 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented professional to work across Key Stages 3 and 4. The primary focus of the role will be supporting literacy. Working closely with teachers, the postholder will deliver bespoke small group literacy interventions aimed at improving attainment and comprehension, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills they need to fully access the curriculum.
