The Supply Register is proud to be partnered with the Prospere Multi Academy Trust, supporting recruitment across all schools within the trust.

We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join the exceptional teams at Prospect House School, a specialist SEN Primary School in North Manchester.

This role is to start ASAP for a full time position and is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive environment, providing care and learning support for pupils with complex needs including autism, learning difficulties, and behaviours that can challenge.

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant :

Working alongside teachers, therapists, and wider support staff, you will help deliver person‑centred, nurturing support that empowers every student to thrive.

Key responsibilities :
  • Support pupils in lessons, helping them access the curriculum at their level
  • Implement positive behaviour support and de‑escalation strategies
  • Build consistent and trusting relationships with students
  • Assist with personal care needs when required
  • Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
  • Promote a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
About You :
  • Experienced in working with children or young people with SEND and behaviours that challenge
  • Calm, resilient, and confident in building rapport with students
  • Team players who can also work independently and show initiative
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 / 3 Teaching Assistant, Team Teach, MAPA) are highly desirable but not essential if candidates have extensive experience in a similar setting.
