  1. Supervising and supporting pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning
  2. Establishing constructive relationships with pupils and promoting inclusion
  3. Supporting the use of ICT and encouraging pupil independence
  4. Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
  5. Assisting with planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities
  6. Supporting the implementation of behaviour and individual education plans
  7. Preparing learning materials, displays, and handling general admin tasks
  8. Supporting school activities including lunchtimes and trips
What You’ll Bring to Futura

We are looking for a supportive and proactive Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has a good standard of education (5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above) – Essential
  • Possesses a relevant TA qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3) – Desirable
  • Holds a First Aid qualification – Desirable
  • Has experience supporting pupils in the classroom – Desirable
  • Has experience supporting pupils with additional needs – Desirable
  • Understands classroom roles and principles of child development – Essential
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to engage pupils
  • Can support a range of pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Uses initiative effectively and can work independently or as part of a team
  • Utilizes ICT effectively to support learning
  • Is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment
