Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in a nursery setting. Ideal candidates will be calm under pressure, emotionally resilient, and have experience with challenging behaviours. Job description

We are looking for an experienced, confident Nursery TA to support a child who requires consistent, firm, and compassionate care within a nursery setting. This role is ideal for someone calm under pressure, emotionally resilient, and skilled at supporting children who display challenging behaviours.

About the Role
  • Supporting a student on a 1:1 basis
  • Full days, Monday to Thursday (Potential to extend to Friday)
  • Based within a nursery environment
  • Start date: January
  • Child’s Support Needs
  • Requires firm, clear boundaries
  • Can be destructive when dysregulated
  • Needs an adult who can remain calm, kind, and consistent
  • Benefits from structured routines and predictable responses
