Job description

We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a committed and friendly school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing across the school. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils in class, individually or in small groups, to access learning

Work closely with the class teacher to assist with planning and preparation

Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Provide feedback on pupils' progress and behaviour to staff and parents

Support children with additional needs as required

Contribute to the wider school community and help with activities and events

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with children in an educational setting (school experience preferred)

A patient, flexible, and positive attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.

A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development

An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)
