Catch22 is looking for a dedicated and innovative Teacher to join our Cloud22 Online School. You will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 13–16 with complex and additional needs, helping them re-engage in education and achieve their full potential.

As a Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and manage high‑quality learning programmes tailored to individual students, both online and in person. You’ll create engaging and inclusive lessons, track progress, and provide meaningful feedback to ensure each learner achieves positive outcomes. You will produce and maintain Schemes of Work and ensure your teaching meets both academic and pastoral needs, supporting the personal development of every student.

In this role, you will also take responsibility for classroom behaviour and contribute to the wider school community by working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents, and external agencies. You’ll act as a role model, championing Catch22’s values of compassion, collaboration, and empowerment while creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications
  • A recognised higher‑level qualification and significant teaching experience
  • Willingness to work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) if not already held
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom management strategies
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and health and safety requirements
  • Proven experience of teaching young people with complex needs and challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and ICT skills
  • Flexible, resilient, and creative approach to teaching and learning
Desirable
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Experience working in alternative education or with learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

Additional Requirements

Successful post‑holders will need to have a full UK Driving License and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.

Contract: Permanent

Hours & work pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week. This is a 52 week term contract and is not term‑time only hours.

Salary: £32,411 — £38,000

Location: This role is remote/home‑based.
