We are in a fortunate and exciting positionuição where we look to grow our scienceMn department in order to provide more opportunity for separate sciences. This is a new post and we’re particularly interested to hear from colleagues who have a specialism or experience in teaching physics. The successful candidate will be joining an established and cohesive team of colleagues, with good links across other schools as part of the Mercian Academy Trust, with excellent opportunities for development. An IIA payment (up to £3000) is available for the right candidate, in an area of science education of interest to the candidate.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Teaching science across Key Stages 3-5;
  • Responsibility for adding value to every learner in each teaching group benchmarked against national criteria and data;
  • Delivering, planning, and preparing lessons in accordance with the planned curriculum;
  • Contribution to curriculum design within science Chil;
  • Working as part of an incredible team that ensures creative and innovative learning and teaching occurs in every lesson;
  • Being a Form Tutor.
