Role: Teacher of French

Role

Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for committed and knowledgeable Qualified French Teachers to support a range of secondary schools in the Canterbury area. The roles are full time and will be to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidates will be confident in teaching French to KS4 students and will have proven experience of teaching French in a secondary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality French lessons to KS4 students within relevant schemes of work.
• Maintain high expectations for student attainment and behaviour across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with department and school policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and student progress.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Uphold high expectations of the students across KS3 and KS4
• Energetic and enthusiastic about teaching the French curriculum
• Possess strong behaviour management skills
• Legal Right to Work in the UK
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
