As a part of the English team at Ipswich Academy, you will work to establish for children a caring environment in which each child will be nurtured and encouraged to develop their potential in English.
Your additional responsibilities will include supporting the head of department in developing and leading a team of teachers within the English department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and promoting the wellbeing of staff and students.
The successful candidate will have the drive to be highly effective, innovative, enthusiastic and a good team player, with the ability to engage and motivate students in involvement in the wider life of the English department.
